About Whiskey River Dachshunds
Our Story
We are a small family-owned breeder specializing in Miniature Dachshunds. We started breeding Dachshunds in 2021 because we wanted to share the joy and love that these amazing animals bring to our lives. We have AKC registered and non-papered dachshunds. As a dedicated Dachshund breeder, the focus is on preserving the unique health, temperament, and conformation of the dachshund breed. The well-being of each dog is a priority, providing high quality care, including quality food, water and shelter, socialization, professional veterinary care, and the most important lots and lots of love!!
Our breeding practices encompass genetic testing, health screenings, and evaluations to ensure that each puppy starts life with the best possible genetic and physical foundation. Puppies are raised in a nurturing home environment and socialized well to ensure they are confident and well-adjusted for their future families. Transparency and open communication are emphasized, working closely with prospective owners to ensure a perfect match and offering ongoing support throughout dog's life.

AKC Registered
We offer Limited registration and Full rights (limited registration means that the dog is registered, but no litters produced by that dog are eligible to for registration. Limited registration makes the dog ineligible to compete in breed competition at licensed or member dog shows but eligible to be entered in other licensed or member events. Full rights registration gives the new owners full breeding rights of the puppy.)
Short hair

We offer, well- socialized Short haired Dachshunds, known for their charming personalities and distinctive appearance.
Wire hair/ Silky
$1500- $3500
At Whiskey River Dachshunds, the delightful wirehaired and silky are offered. Each embodies the breed's charming spirit!
Long hair
$1500- $3500
We also have Long haired!! These dogs embody a blend of charm, elegance, and spirited personality.
Non- registered (no papers)
While these Dachshunds are not AKC registered, their lineage and health status are thoroughly documented through genetic testing, providing a clear picture of their health and parentage. (Pets Only)

She is very quiet and happiest when she is beside you and that's where she is 90% of the time. She loves her people with everything she has!! Great with Kids!!

Meet Bailey's Irish Cream (BEA). AKC registered. Bea is a Cream dapple with two blue eyes! She is my smallest Mama 8lbs. Bea has a giant personality!! She loves to tell me what to do! She tells us when she is hungry, when she wants on the couch, when she wants to go outside, when she wants a treat, and when she wants me and her to go to bed. So, Bea loves to talk and be the boss!! She is Diva like most creams very lazy and content just hanging out on the couch or in a lap.
